This young boy and his sister came to the clinic in March 2007 both desperately needing surgery. Haidar diagnosed them both with congenital cataracts. Without treatment, both children would have suffered severely reduced vision. As the family were unable to afford private treatment, the Foundation underwrote all costs and were able to help restore sight to both siblings.
