Listen to Haidar’s interview on the BBC’s World Service radio ‘Outlook’ programme broadcast on Friday 28 August.  The show covers ‘human interest stories behind the headlines’, Haidar was interviewed at Bush House the day before the broadcast.  He’s the last interviewee on the programme and the segment is billed as ‘Dr Haidar al Hakim: An eye doctor who returned to his Iraqi homeland after a lifetime in exile tells George Arney about his work.’   You can listen to it here.
